A few years ago God convicted me to make bedtime more holy and fun for my kids. We began by reading books together as a family in bed. Then snuggling them until they fell asleep, I would speak a blessing over them by whispering all the compliments I could think of.

My continual frustration was while the world’s books offered silliness and fun, they gave nothing holy, making the transition awkward. And so-called Christian books were mostly quite boring (sorry, but true).

Then God revealed to me His ancient specific instructions for blessing our offspring — attaching and placing His Name upon them.

This book was born out of my heart to unite the joy of reading with our kids, while simultaneously imparting to them knowledge of the holy — by invoking and centering it around God’s Name.

There is an existential war being waged against the people of God, our offspring, and our DNA.

Now, more than anytime in history, it is vital God’s people take refuge in the Name of YHWH as we transition through Babylon’s fall and into the glorious freedom that is the inheritance of the saints.
